Container for dry cooling of coke. The invention relates to a container for dry cooling of coke by means of cooling gases to be passed through the coke filling and consists in the fact that cooling gases which sweep the coke filling passing through the container are introduced into the coke filling from an installation arranged in the container.
An embodiment of the subject invention is brought to the drawing for Dar position.
The coke container is reit a, the coke filling with b, the charging opening with c and the cooling gas supply line with d; e is a space arranged at the lower end of the container from which some of the cooling gases can be introduced into the coke filling: f denotes the cooling gas discharge line and a conveyor belt moving in the direction of the arrows, with the help of which the coke can pass through the door h can be promoted outdoors.
The installation i, which is arranged above the container outlet and from which the cooling gases are introduced into the coke filling, is provided with openings 7c for the outlet of the cooling gases, which are distributed over a zone extending in the direction of movement of the coke filling and is connected through the line l the cooling gas supply line d in connection. The installation i is provided with a downwardly directed line na through which part of the cooling gases can be diverted downward into the coke filling. Flaps through which the cooling gas supply to space e and to installation i respectively. for line m are set with n and p .
The setting device p is designed so that it regulates both the supply to the installation i and to the line m.
The cooling processes take place as follows: The cooling gases pass through the line d into the container a and, with the flap closed, flow through the line l into the hollow body i. The gases penetrate through the openings 7c into the coke filling, pass through it in the upward direction and escape through the line f. The coke enters the container through the feed opening b and leaves the same at the lower end, where it is transported through the door h with the aid of the conveyor belt g. can be promoted outdoors.
If some of the cooling gases are to be introduced into the coke filling at the lower end of the container, the flap ri is opened. The cooling gases then partially flow into space e, from where they can be introduced into the coke filling. If part of the cooling gases directed to installation i are to be discharged downwards, the flap p is brought into the position shown.
The line in, which can be open or closed at the lower end, escapes through the openings k. If the line m is to be shut off, the flap p only needs to be turned downwards.
The advantages of the container are the ability to give the installation i with its openings k such a shape and expansion that the cooling gases can be introduced into the lower and upper, as well as into the lateral and central parts of the coke filling that a completely uniform cooling of the entire coke filling is achieved. The processes during filling and emptying of the container are in no way disturbed by the installation k and the supply line e.
