Abstract

Une cassette (10) destinée à contenir un échantillon de tissu comprend un corps présentant une paroi inférieure (28) et plusieurs parois latérales (26) sétendant vers le haut par rapport à la paroi inférieure, afin de définir un espace intérieur destiné à recevoir léchantillon de tissu. Un couvercle (24) est conçu pour être reçu dans cet espace intérieur, et la cassette (10) est sectionnable dans un microtome. Des éléments de détection (12) sont associés au corps (16) ou au couvercle (24) de la cassette et ils sont conçus pour permettre à un système de détection automatisé de déterminer au moins une caractéristique de la cassette (10). Une bride (14) sétend le long de parties supérieures dau moins deux des parois latérales (26) et présente plusieurs trous (12, 20). Dautres fonctions sont incluses pour permettre une fabrication et une utilisation plus efficace de la cassette (10).
