Abstract
An exercise training apparatus in which the user gains strength by the normal actions of the user's sport. Said apparatus consists of an exercise belt, resistance bands, as well as hand and foot attachments. The apparatus utilizes the users motions to create both positive and negative resistance, while the device is being worn.
Description
SPECIFICATION
The invention involves exercise equipment, in particular exercise equipment used to strengthen the specific muscle groups used during an athletes natural movements, while the device is being worn, allowing the athlete to move freely and naturally.
Although there are various types of personal training devices on today's market, to strengthen specific muscle groups, most consist of repetitions and sets, and are normally bulky and expensive.
It is therefore the purpose of the invention to create a piece of training equipment that is strong, yet simply made and can be produced cost effectively and makes it passible to strengthen the specific muscle groups that the user defines while the device is being worn.
The specifications of the device are as follows:
Athletic exercise training device with training belt ( 1 ) that fastens around the athletes' waist.
The training belt ( 1 ), featuring resistance bands (2) that are fastened to the East and West sides of the belt by six sockets (3,4) on each side; two arms and four leg.
Wrist pads {5) which are worn on the left and right hands of the athlete, featuring two sockets, connecting the wrist band to the belt via resistance band.
Ankle band (6) featuring four sockets on a pivot (7) rotating at 180 degrees, connecting the ankle bands to the belt via resistance band.
The athlete can then use the resistance bands connected to the belt to strengthen the muscles used during the desired athletic maneuver of their choice, simply by performing the maneuver in its regular fashion. The resistance bands will then utilize the specific muscle groups used for the maneuver and strengthen them using both positive and negative resistance, keeping the desired muscle group working to its full potential. This is particularly good for strengthening the muscles used during the desired exercise after using the device. The athlete will find that the muscles that they had used while performing the maneuvers in conjunction with wearing the device had become much stronger. The athlete can choose to strengthen the muscle groups of the upper body or the lower body, or both. If the athlete chooses to work only the upper body, they need not apply the resistance bands to the ankle pads. And, if the athlete chooses to work only the lower body, they need not apply the resistance bands to the wrist pads. This provides the athlete with the freedom to choose their desired muscle groups for both the upper and lower body.

1 THE EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION IN WHICH AN EXCLUSIVE PROPERTY OR
PRIVILEGE IS CLAIMED ARE DEFINED AS FOLLOWS:
An athletic training device, with training belt comprising of resistance bands of varying weights in resistance can be attache. Fastened from the belt are two wrist sockets, and also from the belt to four ankle sockets, depending on the desired area of the body required for the users sport of choice.
The athletic training belt, with six sockets per side, with four on pivots rotating at 180 degrees.
Resistance bands connected to the belt sockets, wrist sockets, and ankle sockets.
Two wrist sockets connected to the resistance bands, the right hand wrist sockets going to the right side of the belt and the left hand sockets going to left side of the belt.
Two ankle sockets connected to the resistance bands with pivots rotating at 180 degrees, the right foot ankle sockets going to the right side of the belt and the 1eft foot ankle sockets going to the left side of the belt.
