Abstract

Ce complément alimentaire pour animaux monogastriques comprend environ 10 à 30 % en poids d'un composé glucoformateur choisi dans le groupe constitué par l'acide propionique, des esters et des sels de cet acide, des esters propyliques, de l'alcool propylique, de l'alanine, de l'aspartate, du glutamate, de la sérine, du lactose, du lactate, du glycérol, du pyruvate, de la glutamine et des mélange de ces substances, environ 0 à 5 % en poids de propylène glycol, d'environ 20 à 60 % en poids d'un acide gras, le solde étant constitué par une charge compatible. On administre ce complément alimentaire en quantité suffisante pour maintenir ou augmenter l'équilibre énergétique de l'animal.
