Abstract

L'invention concerne un produit laminé, forgé ou filé en alliage AlZnMgCu d'épaisseur > 60 mm, de composition (% en poids): 5,9 < Zn < 8,7; 1,7 < Mg < 2,5; 1,4 < Cu < 2,2; Fe < 0,14; Si < 0,11; 0,05 < Zr < 0,15; Mn < 0,02; Cr < 0,02; avec Mg + Cu < 4,1; autres éléments < 0,05 chacun et < 0,10 au total; ce produit étant traité par mise en solution, trempe et éventuellement revenu et présentant à l'état traité T7451 et T7452 les propriétés suivantes: a) une limite élastique R0,2 mesurée à quart-épaisseur > 400 MPa en sens L et TL, b) une tenacité en déformation plane sens S-L > 26 MPa et sens L-T > 74 - 0,08e 0,07 R0,2L MPam (e = épaisseur en mm), c) un seuil de corrosion sous tension > 240 MPa. Les produits selon l'invention sont utilisés notamment pour la fabrication d'éléments de structure d'avions, en particulier des longerons d'ailes.
