Abstract

La capacité de réception de puissance de masques perforés sous forme de feuille plate tendue à base de nickel-fer pour tubes à rayon cathodique à plaque plate (CRTs) est améliorée en utilisant un masque à feuille tendue (FTM) avec une couche superficielle mince qui est enrichie en nickel, lequel est converti en un composé de phosphure de nickel. La couche superficielle en phosphure de nickel est formée sur le masque par immersion du masque dans un premier bain d'un acide réducteur fort suivi d'une immersion du masque dans un second bain d'acide réducteur fort ayant une quantité efficace d'ions hypophosphites. La couche superficielle mince en composés de phosphure de nickel augmente l'émissivité du FTM et réduit la formation de dôme du FTM à des énergies élevées de faisceaux d'électrons. Le composé de phosphure de nickel peut être stabilisé dans le cycle de frittage-recuisson pendant le montage du tube à rayon cathodique ou dans une opération thermique séparée.
