Abstract

The industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of a generally symmetrical front bumper for an automobile as shown in the drawings; the front bumper presents a front surface which merges through smooth curved areas into side surfaces of the front bumper; the front surface of the front bumper presents a central large grill-like open area therein having narrow rearwards extending narrow top, bottom and side surfaces and rounded corner areas; the side surfaces of the grill-like open area diverge upwards away from the bottom surface thereof; the front surface of the front bumper presents a small recessed open area on each side of the grill-like open area; each small recessed open area presents a generally trapezoidal configuration in front view with rounded corner areas and inwardly angled top, bottom and side surfaces; the front surface of the front bumper above the grill-like open area extends upwards and rearwards to present a sloped upper portion of the front surface of the front bumper.Representations of the design are shown in the figures wherein:Fig. 1 is a left front perspective view of the design of the front bumper for an automobile;Fig. 2 is a front elevation view thereof;Fig. 3 is a top plan view thereof;Fig. 4 is a right side elevation view thereof; andFig. 5 is a left side elevation view thereof.The stippled lines in the drawings do not form part of the present design.Diagrams of the design are included.
