Abstract
ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE:
Child's inflatable safety seat having all its mem-bers in the form of inflatable cushions or pads of soft material, comprising a top member, and disposed symmetrically of the top member two upper side members, two middle side members, two lower side members, a back member, a bottom member, an inclined front member. An inflatable post member connect the lower side of the front member and the bottom member for separating the space the-rebetween into two leg portions for easy stretching of the legs.
All the members are in one piece, half sealed seams being provi-ded between the members to give structural strength, the members communicating with each other by air channels.

Description
- The present invention relates generally to a child's safety seat and more particularly to an inflatable safety seat -~;
used in a moving vehicle such as a car, an airplane, etc.
Many kinds of child's safety seat for using in ri-ding a vehicle have been disclosed, yet no one could ensure a perfect effect because both design and material for the structu-ral members are by no means perfect for preventing the child from being hurt during a rough driving or an accident. Inertia, im-~ pact or collision would give harzardous damage to the child such as concussion in head, break in limbs etc., even fatal.
Therefore, the main object of the present invention : .
provides a child's inflatable safety seat for use in riding a ve-hicle and having such a layout as to be able to protect any part of child's body from being hurt under any severe condition of driving, even in an accident.
According to the present invention there is provided a child's inflatable safety seat having all its members in the form of inflatable cushions or pads of soft material, comprising a top member, and disposed symmetrically of the top member two upper side members, two middle side members, two lower side mem- `
bers, a back member, a bottom member, and an inclined front member.
An inflatable post member connect the lower side of the front member and the bottom member for separating the space therebet-ween into two leg portions for easy stretching of the legs. All the members are in one piece, half sealed seams being provided ~between the members to give structural strength, the members communicating with each other by air channels.
Other objects and features will become apparent from following detailed description of a preferred embodiment to be "
taken in conjunction with the annexed drawings.

an emergency braking situation;
Fig. 3 is a perspective view taken from the ront, `~
showing how-to apply the safety belt existing in the vehicle to -~
secure the inflatable seat.
Now referring to Fig. 1, the inflatable safety seat of the present invention comprises structure members in the form of inflatable cushions or pads and all the members are formed -10- substantially in one piece. Half sealed seams are provided -between members to give structural strength; the inside cham-bers formed by the members communicating with each other by air channels. - ~ ;
The seat comprises: a top member 11, symmetrically disposed are two upper side members 21-21, two middle side mem-bers 22-22 and two lower side members 23-23. On the two lower side members 23-23, openings 231-231 are disposed for anchoring the uafety belt 72 originally provided on the vehicle seat 71 (refer also to Fig. 2 and 3) to secure the present inflatable ~20 seat thereon.
The seat also comprises a back member 31, a bottom member 51 and an inclined front member 41 which is very helpful ;
when the vehicle comes to a sudden stop or during a collision during which, the face of the child 81 is perfectly protected such as shown in 81' of Fig. 2.
An inflatable post member 42 connecting the lower side of the front member 41 and the bottom member 51 serves to separate the lower front space into two leg portion for easy strét-ching of the legs. Safety belt 61 with buckle 62 made of non-metallic and relatively soft material offers further assu-rance of safety when the body is fastened on seat.
72~
The top member 11 helps to avoid head concussion even when the vehicle is rolled over, upper side members 21-21 ;~
protect the shoulders, the middle side members 22-22 protect the shoùlders as well as the arms, the back member 31 protects the back, lower side members 23 and the bottom member 51 protect the waist and hip, the front inclined member 41 protect the face as above indicated. The safety belt 61 secures the body in place.
The abovesaid embodiment is only for illustration purpose and not by way of limitation. Modifications become evi-1~ dent to those skilled in the art without departure from the spi-rit of the present invention and shall be covered in the scope of attached claims. ;~
