Abstract

INSTALAçãO DE ELEVADOR COM EQUIPAMENTO DE FREIO E MéTODO PARA FREAR EM UMA INSTALAçãO DE ELEVADOR. A presente invenção refere-se a uma instalação de elevador (1), com uma cabine de elevador (2), que se move em direção vertical ao longo de trilhos de guia (7). Em caso de necessidade, a cabine de elevador (2) é freada por um equipamento de freio (11) ou detida em imobilização. O equipamento de freio (11) consiste em pelo menos duas unidades de freio (12). De acordo com a invenção, pelo menos uma das unidades de freio (12), mas, preferivelmente, cada uma das unidades de freio (12), está dotada de um dispositivo de compensação de desgaste (30), que, quando a unidade de freio (12) é descarregada, ajusta uma folga (If) isto é, uma distância livre entre a lona de freio (15) e a superfície de freio associada, que se forma ao abrir um freio, em correspondência com um valor substancialmente constante. Desse modo, é obtido que pode ser feito uso de materiais de freio convencionais e, desse modo, económicos, que podem desgastar-se durante a frenagem.
