Abstract

PROCESSO DE FUSçO DE UMA COMPOSIÇçO DE MATÉRIAS-PRIMAS ATRAVÉS DE UM QUEIMADOR DE ABOBODA. A invenção diz respeito a um processo para a fusão de uma composição de matérias primas, incluindo a introdução da composição em um forno, para formar uma camada (2) sobre a superfície do leito fundido (4). Um queimador oxicombustível (10) é colocado sobre o leito fundido e orientado em direção à camada de composição (2) de forma a produzir uma frente de fusão (3) . Parâmetros do queimador são ajustados de forma a produzir uma chama larga e envolvente (12) causando uma transferência de calor essencialmente por radiação. Adicionalmente, um plano contendo uma seção transversal longitudinal da chama (Z-Z) e uma direção horizontal perpendicular ao eixo do forno (X X)intercepta a frente de fusão (3) a uma altura (h) variando entre um terço e metade da espessura da composição (e). Tal processo permite uma operação estável do forno, e é particularmente adaptável a um forno de grande capacidade.
