Abstract
"MéTODO E SISTEMA DE PRODUçãO DE PEPITAS DE FERRO METáLICO". A presente invenção refere-se a método e sistema para produção de pepitas metálicas incluindo o fornecimento de uma mistura redutível (por exemplo, microaglomerados redutíveis; material de redução e material ferroso redutível; mistura redutível incluindo aditivos tais como agentes de fluxo; compactos; etc.) em pelo menos uma porção da camada de material de soleira. Em uma modalidade, uma pluralidade de aberturas de canais se estendem pelo menos parcialmente através de uma camada da mistura de redução para definir uma pluralidade de regiões de material redutível formador de pepitas. Tais aberturas de canais podem ser pelo menos parcialmente preenchidas com material de preenchimento de separação de pepitas (por exemplo, material carbonáceo). O tratamento térmico da camada de mistura redutível resulta na formação de uma ou mais pepitas de ferro metálicas.
