Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO DE POLIOLEFINA TENDO NANOFASE DISPERSA E PROCESSO DE PREPARAçãO". Uma composição de poliolefina compreendendo uma fase descontínua de polímero dispersa em uma fase contínua de poliolefina é mostrada. O polímero descontínuo é polimerizado através de um processo compreendendo reação de uma combinação ou mistura da poliolefina e um ou mais monómeros polietilenicamente insaturados na presença de um iniciador de radical livre. Artigos e materiais fabricados da composição exibem várias propriedades vantajosas comparados às correspondentes poliolefinas não-modificadas, por exemplo, capacidade de impressão, de pintura, e coloração no caso de fibra fiada, folhas, aplicações automotivas como partes interiores e pára-choques; rigidez e resistência à abrasão no caso de piso, e resistência a impacto no caso de paredes laterais.
