Abstract

"MéTODO, APARELHO E PROGRAMA DE COMPUTADOR PARA CALCULAR E AJUSTAR O VOLUME PERCEBIDO DE UM SINAL DE áUDIO". Uma ou uma combinação de duas ou mais funções de modelo de volume específico selecionadas a partir de um grupo de duas ou mais das tais funções são empregadas no cálculo do volume perceptivo do sinal de áudio. A função ou funções podem ser selecionadas, por exemplo, por uma medição do grau até o qual o sinal de áudio é de banda estreita ou de banda larga. De forma alternativa ou com tal seleção a partir de um grupo de funções, um valor de ganho G¢t! é calculado, ganho este que, quando aplicado para o sinal de áudio, resulta em um volume percebido substancialmente igual ao volume de referência. O cálculo de ganho emprega um ciclo de processamento iterativo que inclui o cálculo de volume perceptivo.
