Abstract

"PROCESSOS DE PRODUçãO DE Pó DE NIóBIO METáLICO, DE TáNTALO METáLICO E DE SUAS LIGAS E DE MUDANçA DE MORFOLOGIA DE TIPO MASSIVO PARA TIPO ESPONJOSO DE Pó DE METAIS E LIGAS DO GRUPO IV-B E V-B DA TABELA PERIóDICA DE ELEMENTOS QUìMICOS, Pó DE NIóBIO METáLICO, DE TáNTALO METáLICO E DE SUAS LIGAS E CAPACITORES PRODUZIDOS UTILIZANDO O MESMO". FOR THE PRODUCTION OF METALLIC NIÓBIO DUST, METAL TÁNTAL AND ITS ALLOYS AND MASSIVE TYPE MORPHOLOGY CHANGE FOR SPONY TYPE OF METALS AND ALLOYS OF THE PERIOSIC TABLE TABLE GROUP IVI AND VB METALLIC NIÓBIO, METALLIC TALL, AND ITS ALLOYS AND CAPACITORS PRODUCED THEREOF ". The invention relates to a process of producing niobium metal, tantalum metal powder and its alloys of high chemical purity, high surface area, suitable morphology and porosity, and low apparent density, which may contain doping elements such as nitrogen, Phosphorus, boron and silicon are carried out through the following steps: obtaining fine and massive powder of metallic niobium, metallic tantalum and their alloys; surface oxidation of metallic niobium, metallic tantalum and their alloys in a controlled manner; reducing this alkaline or alkaline earth metal oxide layer in a molten salt bath or within a mixture of molten salts; dissolution and leaching of the cake formed; filtration, washing and drying of the product obtained. The invention further relates to a metal niobium, tantalum powder and alloys produced by the process and capacitors produced using metal niobium, tantalum powder and alloys. Finally, the invention deals with a process of changing morphology from mass type to spongy type of group IV-B and VB metal and alloy powder from the periodic table of chemical elements is carried out by the following steps: metal and its alloys; surface oxidation in a controlled manner; reducing this oxide layer with alkaline or alkaline earth metals in a molten salt bath or within a mixture of molten salts; dissolution and leaching of the cake formed; filtration, washing and drying of the product obtained.
