Abstract

"UTILIZAçãO DE UM ENCHIMENTO DE PASSAGEM CRUZADA, CONSTITUìDO DE TELA METáLICA". A presente invenção refere-se a utilização de um enchimento de passagem cruzada feito de uma tela metálica que se refere a um método, no qual uma troca de material e/ou calor é realizada entre uma corrente de líquido e uma corrente de gás ou vapor. O enchimento de tela (1) utilizado se compõe de camadas verticais (11<39>, 12<39>), as quais consistem em telas metálicas (11, 12) corrugadas ou pregueadas, configurando passagens de fluxo (13). A corrente de gás ou vapor flui nas passagens de fluxo e a corrente de líquido flui na tela metálica. As passagens de fluxo de camadas adjacentes atravessam abertamente. O ângulo entre as passagens cruzadas é menor do que aproximadamente 100<198>. Neste método, o enchimento de tela sofre ação de uma carga de líquido relativamente baixa. A tela metálica constitui um portador para a corrente líquida, o qual é amplamente livre de orifícios ou outras aberturas. São selecionados valores para a carga líquida, de acordo com a relação L/a > 10 I/mh, em que L é a carga de superfície específica nas unidades de volume do líquido por unidade de superfície da seção transversal de enchimento e a é a superfície, sobre a qual a tela metálica se estende.
