Abstract

"COMPOSIçõES COM MATRIZ ELASTOMéRICA INTERPENETRANTE DE POLIURETANA BETUMINOSA". As composições com matriz elastomérica interpenetrante de poliuretana da invenção são desenvolvidas pela reação in situ de polióis com diferentes isocianatos e poliisocianatos em material betuminoso. Os materiais betuminosos apropriados incluem asfalto, alcatrão, asfalto modificado com polímero, asfalto oxidado e não-oxidado. A composição é, de preferência, formada em uma temperatura entre 93<198>C e 177<198>C (200-350 <198>F). A cinética da reação pode ser acelerada incluindo catalisadores e agentes de cura. A cinética da reação foi acompanhada medindo o aumento do torque como função do tempo de reação. O tempo de geleificação é medido no torque máximo. Para os testes, as composições elastoméricas com matriz interpenetrante de poliuretana betuminosa foram aplicadas com spray aquecido a 93<198>C e 177<198>C (200-350 <198>F) sobre diferentes substratos, tais como concreto, metal, madeira, sistemas de telhado construido, espumas de poliuretana, e outros materiais de construção, com um sistema aplicador de spray especialmente desenhado. Os substratos revestidos foram avaliados quanto às suas propriedades físicas e mecânicas, adesão, resistência a punções estáticas e dinâmicas, teste de arremate, e outras propriedades. As composições elastoméricas com matriz interpenetrante de poliuretana betuminosa da invenção são resistentes a solventes, óleo e ácido. Os elastómeros com matriz interpenetrante de poliuretana betuminosa são apropriados para uma ampla série de aplicações, inclusive, mas não limitado a telhados ou coberturas, construções novas, e aplicações de impermeabilização de paredes e fundações.
