Abstract

DESENVOLVIMENTO DE GERMOPLASMA DE CRUCìFERA ALTAMENTE QUIMIOPROTETORA. Um método para produzir germoplasma crucífero, em particular germoplasma de brócolis e couve-flor, com níveis elevados de agentes quimioprotetores de câncer que compreendem avaliar uma população de plantas para perfis de glicosinolato e selecionar uma planta individual com uma relação realçada de glicosinolato de alquila para glicosinolato de indol. A reprodução subseq³ente com uma planta selecionada resulta em variedades, linhagens e plantas com perfis de glicosinolato desejável. Um método de desenvolver brotos crucíferos para realçar a atividade quimioprotetora dos brotos para germinação das sementes em um volume de água limitado.
