Abstract

"MéTODO PARA SEPARAR MAGNETICAMENTE PARTìCULAS SELECIONADAS, PARTICULARMENTE CéLULAS BIOLóGICAS E APARELHO PARA SEPARAR MAGNETICAMENTE PARTìCULAS SELECIONADAS", compreendendo um método e aparelho para separar magneticamente partículas-alvo de uma amostra para poder produzir uma concentração das partículas-alvo numa amostra, ou uma depleção da amostra em relação às partículas-alvo, produzindo uma mistura da amostra com partículas magnéticas que possuem uma afinidade seletiva para carregar magneticamente as partículas-alvo, alimentando um líquido tampão através de um tubo (12) que inclui uma entrada (12a) conectável a uma fonte de líquido tampão e uma saída para líquido tampão; introduzindo a mistura de amostra dentro do líquido tampão de modo que o líquido tampão forme um portador líquido contínuo para mistura com a amostra conforme ambos são alimentados através de tubo; e aplicando um campo magnético sobre o tubo (12) numa estação magnetizadora (13) no mesmo para fazer com que as partículas-alvo magneticamente marcadas sejam separadas e retidas no líquido tampão dentro do tubo (12) na estação magnetizadora.
