Montagem exotérmica de fundição que é formada através da mistura de microesferas de vidro ocas e de uma substância aglutinante inorgânica ou orgânica com os componentes que formam matriz incluindo um metal oxidável, um agente de oxidação, um agregado refratário de fundição e, opcionalmente, um pró-oxidante, e da formação e da cura da mistura. As microesferas de vidro ocas são dispersas e embutidas na matriz da montagem.
