''FERRAMENTA GIRATóRIA ALONGADA PARA USINAR MATERIAIS, COMPREENDENDO UMA CERMET TENDO UM LIGANTE DE Co-Ni-Fe''. Uma ferramenta giratória alongada incluindo pelo menos uma aresta de corte que é útil na usinagem de materiais de peças de trabalho é descrita. A ferramenta giratória alongada compreende uma cermet compreendendo pelo menos um componente duro e cerca de 0,2% em peso a 19% em peso de ligante de Co-Ni-Fe. O ligante de Co-Ni-Fe é único em que mesmo quando submetido a deformação plástica, o ligante substancialmente mantém sua estrutura cristalina cúbica de face centrada (fcc) e evita transformações induzidas por tensões e/ou solicitações.
