Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO DE COPOLìMERO-POLISILOXANO NãO CURADA, PROCESSO PARA FORMAçãO DE UMA COMPOSIçãO DE POLISILOXANO, SELANTE, E, SUBSTRATO REVESTIDO COM SELANTE" Uma composição de alta elongação, de baixo módulo de 100% compreende um copolímero disperso em um polisiloxano em fase contínua. O copolímero é feito de grandes quantidades de pelo menos um monómero que é capaz de formar um polímero de baixo Tg e quantidades relativamente pequenas de pelo menos um monómero que é capaz de formar um polímero de alta Tg. O monómero que forma o polímero de baixa Tg pode ser um acrilato de alquila enquanto que os monómeros que forman o polímero de alta Tg podem ser um éster de vinila, uma crilonitrila ou derivados da mesma, um aromático substituído com vinila tais como estireno, um metacrilato de alquila e similares. A composição tem boa adesão a substratos assim como bom envelhecimento por viscosidade e pode ser utilizada em calafates ou em selantes.
