Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"COMPOSIçãO PARA UM CABO ELéTRICO"<D>. Trata-se de uma composição para um cabo elétrico. A composição é caracterizada pelo fato de compreender um plástico de etileno e um composto da fórmula geral R¹O[C~ 3~H~ 5~(OR²)O]~ n~R³ (I), na qual n <242> 1, R¹, R² e R³, iguais ou diferentes, designam hidrogênio ou o resíduo de um ácido carboxílico com 8 a 24 átomos de carbono, com a condição de que existam pelo menos dois grupos OH livres e pelo menos um resíduo de um ácido carboxílico com 8 a 24 átomos de carbono na molécula. De preferência, n = 3-12 e R¹, R² e R³ designam hidrogênio ou estearoíla e o composto da fórmula (I) está presente em uma quantidade de 0,05 a 2% em peso da composição. O composto da fórmula (I) pode ser combinado com outros aditivos, com por exemplo poliglicóis de etileno. A composição pode ser usada com uma camada de isolamento ou como uma camada semicondutora de um cabo elétrico.
