Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"RECEPTOR PARA UMA TOXINA DO BACILLUS THURINGIENSIS''<D>. O cDNA que codifica um receptor de glicoproteína a partir do verme de chifre do tabaco que se liga à toxina do Bacillus thuringiensis foi obtido e seq³enciado. A disponibilidade desse cDNA permite a recuperação dos DNAs que codificam receptores homólogos em outros insetos e organismos, bem como o projeto de análises com relação à citotoxidez e afinidade de ligação de pesticidas potenciais e o desenvolvimento de métodos para manipular os receptores homólogos naturais e/ou introduzidos e, desse modo, destruir células alvo, tecidos ou organismos.
