Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"MéTODO E SISTEMA DE DIMENSIONAMENTO PARAMéTRICO BASEADO EM REFERêNCIA" <D>. O sistema de CAD descrito permite que um desenhista facilmente introduza entidades de dimensão, as quais descrevem as dimensões físicas de um objeto em um desenho ou um modelo de CAD. As entidades de dimensão definem dimensões lineares, angulares ou radiais, e para cada entidade de dimensão o usuário define uma origem de referência além da informação dimensional normal. O valor de cada entidade de dimensão definida pode ser uma constante simples, um parâmetro ou uma expressão de múltiplas constantes e parâmetros. Em virtude da origem de referência, uma rede muito complexa de entidades de dimensão relacionadas pode ser simplesmente definida e facilmente modificada. O recálculo das entidades de dimensão é realizado por meio de um mecanismo de dimensionamento paramétrico que transforma grupos de entidades do espaço global do desenho ou modelo de CAD geral em um espaço local. Enquanto no espaço local, o dimensionamento paramétrico recalcula os dados de coordenadas das entidades.
