Abstract
<B>MéTODO E APARELHO PARA DETERMINAR A RAZãO ENTRE POTêNCIAS DE SINAL E DE INTERFERêNCIA MAIS RUìDO (SINR) EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçõES<D> Sinais de trajetória variável que compreendem cada um deles símbolos multiplexados por divisão de tempo incluindo símbolos conhecidos que constituem um sinal de referência são combinados com os respectivos pesos para reduzir a interferência de co-canal. Os pesos são determinados a partir de uma matriz de correlação e de um vetor de correlação de sinal de referência, utilizando uma janela móvel que inicia com símbolos de sincronização e/ou símbolos CDVCC (código de cores de verificação digital codificada) como os símbolos conhecidos. A SINR (razão entre sinal e interferência mais ruído) é determinada para cada posição de janela a partir de elementos da matriz de correlação e do vetor de correlação de sinal de referência. As SINRs determinadas têm as suas médias calculadas ao longo do intervalo de tempo durante diversos intervalos de tempo e para que as trajetórias variáveis propiciem uma determinação precisa de SINR dentro de um período de tempo. A SINR propicia um parâmetro de qualidade de sinal confiável que é útil em um sistema de comunicações celulares para procedimentos como conexão, alocação adaptativa de canal, controle dinâmico de potência e seq³enciamento de células.
