Abstract

A presente revelação refere-se a uma composição de catalisador que compreende: (a) níquel; (b) pelo menos um promotor selecionado a partir de Cu, Zn, Mo, Co, Mg, Ce, Ti, Zr, Fe, Pd, Ag, Pt ou combinações dos mesmos; e (c) um material de suporte, em que, o carregamento de níquel está na faixa de 6-19 % em peso e o pelo menos um carregamento promotor está na faixa de 0,2-5 % em peso em relação ao material de suporte. A presente revelação revela ainda um processo para preparar uma composição de catalisador e um processo, cada, para a produção de gás hidrogênio e nanotubos de carbono. Também é revelado no presente documento o uso de uma composição de catalisador para obter gás hidrogênio e nanotubos de carbono.
