Abstract
um conversor de fonte de tensão (30) que compreende: primeiro e segundo terminais dc (32, 34) para ligação a uma rede dc (44); e uma pluralidade de membros do conversor (36), cada membro do conversor (36) prolongando-se entre os primeiro e segundo terminais dc (32, 34), cada membro do conversor (36) incluindo uma primeira e uma segunda porções de membros (38, 40), separadas por um respectivo terminal ac (42), o terminal ac (42) de cada membro do conversor (36) para a ligação a uma respectiva fase ac de uma rede ac multifásica (46), cada primeira porção de membro (38) prolongando-se entre o primeiro terminal dc (32) e o terminal ac (42) correspondente, cada segunda porção de membro (40) prolongando-se entre o segundo terminal dc (34) e o terminal ac (42) correspondente, cada porção de membro (38, 40) incluindo uma respectiva válvula (50), cada válvula (50) incluindo pelo menos um elemento de comutação e pelo menos um dispositivo de armazenamento de energia, o ou cada elemento de comutação de cada válvula (50) sendo comutáveis de modo a inserir seletivamente o ou cada dispositivo de armazenamento de energia correspondente na porção de membro correspondente (38, 40) e derivar o ou cada dispositivo de armazenamento de energia correspondente, de modo a controlar uma tensão através dessa válvula (50); e um controlador (62) programado para controlar a comutação de uma válvula selecionada (50) de um dentre a pluralidade de membros do conversor (36) e outra válvula selecionada de outro dentre a pluralidade de membros do conversor (36), de modo a formar um caminho de circulação de corrente.
