Abstract

a presente invenção se refere a um método e a um aparelho para espectroscopia de emissão óptica de fluidos. o método compreende condução de um fluxo de amostra de fluido (1) através de uma célula de fluxo (2); aplicação de energia eletromagnética (3) a partir de uma fonte (4) para energia eletromagnética em cima de uma superfície (5) do fluxo de amostra de fluido (1) que flui através da célula de fluxo (2) para induzir plasma (6) no fluxo de amostra de fluido (1) que flui através da célula de fluxo (2); e recepção de luz (7) emitida pelo plasma (6) e análise de luz (7) emitida pelo plasma (6) em um espectrômetro (8) de um sistema de espectroscopia (9). em concordância com a presente invenção, o método compreende provisão de uma parede de proteção (10) entre o fluxo de amostra de fluido (1) que flui através da célula de fluxo (2) e do espectrômetro (8) do sistema de espectroscopia (9) de maneira tal que um espaço intermediário é formado entre a parede de proteção (10) e o fluxo de amostra de fluido (1) que flui através da célula de fluxo (2); e provisão da parede de proteção (10) com uma abertura (11) para possibilitar que luz (7) emitida pelo plasma (6) venha a passar através da parede de proteção (10).
