Abstract

a presente invenção refere-se a um método para a coloração de um elemento ótico em um padrão linear não uniforme. o método inclui (a) preparar pelo menos uma composição colorante que contém pelo menos um material fotocrômico; (b) depositar a composição colorante em pelo menos uma superfície do elemento ótico em um padrão predeterminado controlado usando um aparelho de impressão de jato de tinta para proporcionar um padrão de cor linearmente gradiente no elemento ótico quando o elemento ótico é exposto a radiação actínica; e (c) secar a composição colorante na superfície do elemento ótico. um elemento ótico preparado pelo método também é proporcionado.
