Abstract

a presente invenção refere-se a um eletrodo eletrocirúrgico que compreende um corpo alongado, tendo uma área da seção transversal e bordas laterais longitudinais formando as bordas cortantes longitudinais adaptadas para dissecação eletrocirúrgica ao longo de um plano. o corpo tem uma configuração, em que: a espessura da borda lateral é menor ou igual a 0,254 mm (0,01 polegada), formando apenas uma borda cortante, e a razão entre a área da seção transversal e o número de bordas cortantes é menor ou igual a 0,00097 cm2 (0,000150 pol2) por borda cortante; ou a espessura de uma primeira borda lateral é maior que 0,254 mm (0,01 polegada) e a espessura de uma segunda borda lateral é menor ou igual a 0,254 mm (0,01 polegada), e a razão entre a área da seção transversal e o número de bordas cortantes é menor ou igual a 0,006 cm2 (0,001 pol2) por uma borda cortante.
