Abstract

APARELHO DE FLOTOAÇÃO E MÉTODO DE FLOTOAÇÃO. A presente invenção refere-se a um aparelho de flotoação compreendendo uma câmara de flotoação (2) tendo uma parede lateral e uma base (9), um agitador (3), um dispositivo de aspersão (3), associado com o agitador, um primeiro dispositivo de coleta de espuma (5) disposto em uma região superior da câmara de flotoação com o propósito de coletar um produto de espuma formado durante o processo de flotoação e uma linha de carga (6) para carregar a câmara de flotoação com polpa, em que a linha de carga conduz para dentro da câmara de flotoação em um ponto (19) acima do agitador e um ejetor (7) está presente na linha de carga. A invenção também se refere a um método de flotoação que é realizado em dois estágios no interior de uma câmara de flotoação (2) de um aparelho de flotoação (1), em que um ejetor (7) é usado em um primeiro estágio de flotoação e um agitador (3) é utilizado em um segundo estágio de flotoação.
