Abstract

método de formação de elementos filtrantes. a presente invenção refere-se a um método de formação de um elemento filtrante que compreende a introdução de uma mistura em um alime ntador, a mistura compreendendo uma pluralidade de partículas susceptoras e uma pluralidade de particulas aglutinantes poliméricas. a mistura é avançada através do alimentador e em direção a uma matriz compreendendo uma porção de excitação onde correntes parasitas são induzidas nas partículas susceptoras, submetendo a mistura a um campo eletromagnético de alta frequência, as correntes parasitas sendo suficientes para elevar a temperatura das partículas susceptoras para fazer com que as partículas aglutinantes poliméricas adjacentes sejam aquecidas e ao menos um ponto de amolecimento. as partículas susceptoras ligam-se com as partículas aglutinantes poliméricas aquecidas na matriz para formar uma massa coerente. a massa coerente é passada para fora da matriz e resfriada para formar o elemento filtrante.
