Abstract
éster de poliol adequado para utilização como um lubrificante ou um estoque de base de lubrificante. um éster de poliol adequado para utilização como um lubrificante ou um estoque de base de lubrificante possui uma viscosidade cinemática a 40<198>c maior ou igual a 200 cst e um índice de viscosidade maior ou igual a 100. o éster compreende um produto de reação de (a) um componente de álcool poli-hídrico compreendendo pelo 50% em mol de penteritritol, e (b) um componente de ácido carboxílico compreendendo: (i) pelo menos um ácido monocarboxílico linear ou ramificado possuindo 2 a 7 átomos de carbono; (ii) pelo menos um ácido monocarboxílico ramificado possuindo 8 a 15 átomos de carbono; e (iii) pelo menos um ácido policarboxílico possuindo 2 a 8 átomos de carbono; em que a proporção do número de grupos de ácido derivados do(s) ácido(s) monocarboxílico(s) (i) para o número de grupos de ácido derivados do(s) ácido(s) monocarboxílico(s) (ii) é entre 0.9 e 1.1 e o número de grupos de ácido derivados do(s) ácido(s) policarboxílico(s) (iii) está entre 15% e 25% do número total de grupos de ácido derivados dos ácidos carboxílicos (i), (ii) e (iii).
