Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA PREPARAR UMA DISPERSãO DE COPOLìMERO AQUOSA ESTáVEL". A presente invenção diz respeito a um método para produzir uma dispersão de copolímero aquosa estável mediante polimerização de emulsão aquosa iniciada por radical livre de: a) de 19,9 a 80 partes em peso de dienos alifáticos conjugados ¢monómeros a)!; b) de 19,9 a 80 partes em peso de compostos vinilaromáticos ¢monómeros b)!; c) de 0, 1 a 10 partes em peso de ácidos carboxílicos e/ou ácidos dicarboxílicos etilenicamente insaturados ¢monómeros c)!; d) de 0 a 20 partes em peso de nitrilas de ácido carboxílico etilenicamente insaturado ¢monómeros d)! e; e) de 0 a 20 partes em peso de compostos copolimerizáveis ¢monómeros e)!, que diferem de monómeros b), em que a quantidade total de monómeros etilenicamente insaturados a) a e) soma até 100 partes em peso. A polimerização de emulsão aquosa iniciada por radical é realizada na presença de água e de 0, 1 a 5 partes em peso de emulsificantes, com relação à quantidade total de monómeros, onde, f) meio-ésteres de ácido sulfúrico de álcoois de ácido graxo etoxilado e/ou g) sais de ésteres e meio-ésteres de alquil polioxietileno sulfossuccinatos são usados como emulsificantes. 15 a 85 % partes em peso dos emulsificantes totais usados sendo adicionados durante o tempo no qual até 40 % da conversão total dos monómeros a) a e) são alcançados, e de 1 a 50 % dos grupos de ácido carboxílico subjacentes aos monómeros c) são neutralizados pela adição de base.
