Abstract

"TRANSMISSãO CONTINUAMENTE VARIáVEL". Uma transmissão continuamente variável para uso com veículos a motor inclui uma unidade de controle eletrónico, uma unidade de marchas automatizada, um variador, um conjunto de engrenagens de entrada, um elemento de relação fixa de entrada e um elemento de relação fixa de saída. A unidade de controle eletrónico é configurada para incluir regras de lógica para controlar uma transmissão, as regras de lógica incluindo emitir comandos de controle da transmissão. A unidade de marchas automatizada tem marchas provendo uma pluralidade de relações de marchas seletivamente engatadas e engata uma da pluralidade de relações de marchas responsiva a comandos a partir da unidade de controle eletrónico para assim proceder. A unidade de marchas tem um eixo de entrada de unidade de marchas e um eixo de saída de unidade de marchas. O variador tem um eixo de entrada de variador e um eixo de saída de variador. O variador é configurado para continuamente variar uma relação de torque de entrada para torque de saída entre os eixos de variador responsivo a comandos a partir da unidade de controle eletrónico. O eixo de saída de variador é acionadamente conectado ao eixo de entrada de unidade de marchas. O conjunto de engrenagens de entrada é acionadamente conectado ao eixo de entrada de variador. O elemento de relação fixa de entrada é configurado para reduzir o torque a partir do conjunto de engrenagens de entrada para o variador e é operacionalmente disposto entre o conjunto de engrenagens de entrada e o eixo de entrada de variador. O elemento de relação fixa de saída é configurado para aumentar o torque a partir do variador e é operacionalmente disposto entre o eixo de saída de variador e o eixo de entrada de unidade de marchas.
