"cepa de megasphaera elsdenii e seus usos". a presente invenção refere-se a uma cepa de megasphaera elsdenii e seus usos. a presente invenção refere-se ainda a preparações e métodos incorporando tal cepa. a presente invenção também refere-se a gêneros alimentícios para ruminantes e a uma preparação e método para a prevenção e tratamento de acidose láctica em ruminantes. a presente invenção refere-se ainda a um método de isolamento de uma cultura biologicamente pura de um microorganismo ruminal superior em um período de tempo relativamente mais curto do que os métodos convencionais. a presente invenção refere-se ainda a um método para se obter qualquer um ou mais dos aperfeiçoamentos em ruminantes, a saber, maior produção de leite; desempenho de engorda aperfeiçoado; taxa de crescimento aperfeiçoada; diminuição do tempo de abatimento; menor morbidez e mortalidade digestiva; menor incidência de acidose láctica e doenças relacionadas; melhor eficiência de conversão de alimentação; diminuição no teor de material áspero em alimentações; e capacidade de oferecer como alimento dietas de concentrado relativamente maior.
