Dispositivo de medição transparente (32) com linhas de visibilidade aumentadas (44) formadas em um substrato transparente, possuindo superfícies frontal e traseira planares opostas e com pelo menos uma linha opaca (40) formada em uma das superfícies frontal e traseira e pelo menos uma linha transparente formada em uma das superfícies frontal e traseira para ser colinear com a pelo menos uma linha opaca para apresentar uma linha composta, onde a linha transparente permita a visualização do material em que o dispositivo é colocado enquanto realçando a pelo menos uma linha opaca para visibilidade melhorada. A linha transparente pode ser formada de pigmento excitável que reage à luz, como luz negra, ou que retém luminescência depois da exposição à luz.
