Abstract

"PROCESSO E SISTEMA DE RESFRIAMENTO DE UMA CUBA DE ELETRóLISE PARA A PRODUçãO DE ALUMìNIO". A invenção tem por objeto um processo de resfriamento de uma célula de eletrólise ígnea (1) para a produção de alumínio no qual se produzem gotículas de um fluido portador de calor (ou fluido portador de calor dividido), de preferência em um volume confinado em contato com uma superfície determinada de pelo menos uma parede da caixa (2) da cuba da célula de eletrólise (1), de maneira a provocar a evaporação do total dessas gotículas ou parte delas por contato com essa superfície e a retirar o calor dessa superfície. A invenção tem também por objeto um sistema de resfriamento (100) apta a utilizar o processo de resfriamento. A invenção permite obter uma eficácia do resfriamento elevada, graças ao calor latente de vaporização do fluido portador de calor.
