Abstract

"SISTEMA E MéTODO DE LIMPEZA DE AR". São divulgados um sistema de limpeza de ar energizado (1) e um método de limpeza de ar. O sistema compreende um caminho de fluxo (22) que estende-se através do sistema, de uma entrada de ar (4) até uma saída de ar limpo (5). Um ventilador acionado por motor (24) localizado ao longo do caminho de fluxo aspira o ar carregado de detritos particulados na entrada e gira-o em torno de um eixo geométrico (A-A) para formar um fluxo rotativo que estratifica o ar carregado de detritos, com as partículas mais pesadas nas órbitas mais externas do fluxo rotativo. Uma abertura ejetora (25) é provida para ejetar ar carregado de detritos particulados do fluxo rotativo estratificado no sistema para o meio ambiente. Um filtro de ar (9) localizado dentro do fluxo rotativo e através do caminho do fluxo à montante dos filtros de saída das órbitas mais internas do fluxo rotativo estratificado. O ventilador acionado por motor é operado de forma a manter uma pressão de ar positiva no sistema no filtro, mesmo com demandas de fluxo de ar cíclicas, de maneira tal que o fluxo de ar rotativo varra continuamente a superfície externa do filtro de ar, de forma a minimizar o acúmulo de detritos no filtro.
