Abstract

"ARQ FLEXìVEL PARA TRANSMISSãO DE DADOS EM PACOTE". Um método e um sistema propiciam uma eficiente transmissão de dados por evitar a transmissão desnecessária de subpacotes de dados sem perder novos pacotes de dados. o método e o sistema diferenciam entre um subpacote para um pacote de dados corrente e um subpacote para um novo pacote de dados por designar diferentes códigos para eles. Quando um subpacote recebido correntemente e um subpacote recebido anteriormente para um pacote de dados previamente decodificado possuem códigos equivalentes, a estação remota envia (506) um sinal de confirmação (acknowledgement) para a estação base, impedindo a transmissão desnecessária de subpacotes. Quando o subpacote correntemente recebido e o pacote previamente recebido possuem códigos diferentes, a estação remota envia (510) um sinal de confirmação, caso a estação remota possa decodificar o novo pacote do subpacote corrente. Caso contrário, a estação remota envia (516) um sinal de confirmação negativa para a estação base e requisita mais subpacotes para o pacote corrente caso o limite do número de transmissão para o subpacote correntemente recebido não tenha sido alcançado.
