Abstract

"AçO PARA TRABALHO A FRIO". A presente invenção se refere a um aço para trabalho a frio, caracterizado por apresentar a seguinte composição química em peso%: 1,25-1,75% (C + N), entretanto, pelo menos 0,5% de C; 0,1-1,5% de Si; 0,1-1,5% de Mn; 4,0-5,5% de Cr; 2,5-4,5% (Mo+W/2), entretanto, um máximo de 0,5% de W; 3,0-4,5% (V+Nb/2), entretanto, um máximo de 0,5% de Nb; um máximo de 0,3% de S; balanço de ferro e impurezas inevitáveis; e uma microestrutura que na condição das etapas de endurecimento e têmpera do aço contém de 6-13% em volume de carbetos-MX, nitretos-MX e/ou carbonitretos-MX ricos em vanádio, que se encontram uniformemente distribuídos na matriz do aço, onde X é carbono e/ou nitrogênio, em que pelo menos 90% em volume dos ditos carbetos, nitretos e/ou carbonitretos apresentam um diâmetro equivalente (Deq) que é menor que 3,0 <109>m e um máximo total de 1% em volume de outros carbetos, nitretos ou carbonitretos possivelmente existentes.
