Abstract

"VISOR DE GYRICON FOTOCRÈMICO". Descreve-se um visor compreendendo uma disposição de vários elementos rotativos opticamente anisotrópicos, cada um dos elementos rotativos tendo uma superfície em contato com um fluido habilitante, os elementos rotativos sendo eletricamente dipolares na presença do fluido habilitante e, desse modo, sujeitos à rotação mediante aplicação de um campo elétrico, os elementos rotativos sendo livres para girar no lugar, mas não livres para trasladar substancialmente de modo a romper a disposição dos elementos rotativos, em que uma primeira parte da superfície contém uma mistura de um agente quelante e um material de espiropirano de fórmula em que n é um número inteiro representando o número de unidades repetitivas de -CH~ 2~- e R é -H ou -CH-CH~ 2~, e em que uma segunda parte da superfície não contém, substancialmente, qualquer espiropirano.
