Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAçãO DE HIDRATOS DE OLANZAPINA E SUA CONVERSãO EM FORMAS CRISTALINAS DE OLANZAPINA". A presente invenção refere-se a um método para a preparação de hidratos de 2-metil-4-(4-metil-1-piperazinil)-10H-tieno[2,3-b][1,5]-benzodiazepina (aqui doravante referida como OLANZAPINA). A presente invenção refere-se também a um processo para a conversão destes hidratos em uma forma cristalina de OLANZAPINA referida como Forma 1. A presente invenção refere-se também a um método para converter a Forma 2 de OLANZAPINA na Forma 1."PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF OLANZAPINE HYDRATES AND THEIR CONVERSION IN CRYSTALLINE FORMS OF OLANZAPINE". The present invention relates to a method for the preparation of 2-methyl-4- (4-methyl-1-piperazinyl) -10H-thieno [2,3-b] [1,5] benzodiazepine hydrates (herein hereinafter referred to as OLANZAPINE). The present invention also relates to a process for converting these hydrates to a crystalline form of OLANZAPINE referred to as Form 1. The present invention also relates to a method for converting Form 2 of OLANZAPINE to Form 1.
