Abstract

"LOCALIZAçãO AUTOMáTICA DE INFORMAçãO DE ENDEREçO EM PACOTES ENVIADOS POR DISTRIBUIDOR DE CORRESPONDêNCIA EM MASSA". Um método para classificação automática inclui o recebimento de um item (22) em uma seq³ência de itens a serem classificados, cada um desses itens marcado com um respectivo código de identificação que pode ser lido em máquina (42, 52, 54) e com respectivos caracteres (44, 56) em uma localização em relação ao código, que varia de um item a outro na seq³ência. Uma posição do código nos itens é determinada e, em resposta à posição do código, a localização dos caracteres no item é encontrada. Os caracteres são processados para se determinar um destino do item.
