Abstract
"PNEU E PROCESSO PARA CORRIGIR UNIFORMIDADE DE PNEU DO MESMO" De acordo com a invenção, um pneumático e um processo para manufatura do pneumático tendo características de uniformidade de pneu aperfeiçoadas são descritos. A lona de reforço de carcaça tem vários cordões de reforço embutidos em um material matriz, que pode ser tornado plástico e não plástico para permitir e restringir, respectivamente, a reorientação dos cordões de reforço, após o pneu ter sido, pelo menos parcialmente, vulcanizado. O processo inclui as etapas de tornar plástico o material matriz, reorientar um ou mais cordões de reforço, sem que sejam esticados além dos seus limites elásticos, e depois tornar o material matriz não plástico. A reorientação pode ocorrer enquanto o pneu está ainda no molde de pneu, ou quando o pneu está ainda quente do molde de pneu e a uma temperatura de pelo menos a temperatura de deflexão, por aplicação de uma força para reorientar os cordões de reforço.
