Abstract

"ESTERILIZAçãO DE LìQUIDOS POR MEIO DE LUZ ULTRAVIOLETA". Trata-se de um esterilizador para leite e outros líquidos, o esterilizador tendo um alojamento externo alongado (12) com um tubo múltiplo (16) em cada extremidade. Encaixes para laticínios (20), que formam a entrada para o e a saída do esterilizador, projetam-se dos tubos múltiplos (16). Uma bainha (26) de aço inoxidável estende-se ao longo do alojamento (12) e um tubo fluorescente de luz UV estende-se ao longo da bainha. A bainha tem uma conformação interna que proporciona saliências sobre as quais escoa o líquido a ser esterilizado. Isto imprime um turbilhonamento ao líquido que escoa ou, caso o tubo múltiplo e o encaixe de entrada (20) sejam eles próprios dispostos de modo a imprimirem turbilhonamento sob a forma de um movimento de redemoinho do líquido entrante, ajuda a manter o turbilhonamento ao longo de todo o comprimento da bainha (26).
