Abstract
"CASSETE DE EXPRESSãO, VETOR RECOMBINANTE, MICROORGANISMO, PLANTA TRANSGêNICA, MéTODO PARA GERAR PLANTAS TRANSGêNICAS, USOS DE UM VETOR, DE UM MICROORGANISMO, DE UM CASSETE DE EXPRESSãO, OU DE UMA PLANTA TRANSGêNICA, E, PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAçãO DE TOCOFERóIS". A invenção refere-se a um novo tipo de cassetes de expressão que, sob controle genético, contém seq³ências de ácido nucleico reguladoras a) seq³ência de ácido nucleico codificadora de 4-hidro-fenil-piruvato-dioxigenase (HPPD) ou de um de seus equivalentes funcionais; e/ou b) pelo menos uma seq³ência de ácido nucleico (anti-HGD), que pode inibir a atividade de homogentisato-dioxigenase (HGD). A invenção também se refere aos vetores que são adequados para a produção de plantas possuindo um conteúdo de tocoferol aumentado, às plantas transgênicas produzidas com os mesmos, e a um método para a produção de plantas transgênicas possuindo um conteúdo de tocoferol aumentado."EXPRESSION CASSETTE, RECOMBINANT VECTOR, MICROORGANISM, TRANSGENIC PLANT, METHOD FOR GENERATING TRANSGENIC PLANTS, USES OF A VECTOR, A MICROORGANISM, AN EXPRESSION CASSETTE, OR A TRANSGENIC PLANT FOR PROTECTION, AND PROCEDURE FOR PROTECTION, AND PROCEDURE FOR PROTECTION AND PROTECTION. The invention relates to a new type of expression cassettes that, under genetic control, contain regulatory nucleic acid sequences a) nucleic acid sequence encoding 4-hydro-phenyl-pyruvate-dioxigenase (HPPD) or one of its components functional equivalents; and / or b) at least one nucleic acid (anti-HGD) sequence, which can inhibit homogentisate-dioxigenase (HGD) activity. The invention also relates to vectors that are suitable for the production of plants having an increased tocopherol content, to transgenic plants produced therefrom, and to a method for the production of transgenic plants having an increased tocopherol content.
