Abstract

"PROCESSOS PARA GERAR UM DOCUMENTO, E PARA VERIFICAR A AUTENTICIDADE DE UM DOCUMENTO, E, SISTEMA PARA GERAR DOCUMENTOS". Um processo de gerar documentos e verificar sua autenticidade primeiramente requer acesso do controlador a um sistema de criação de documento para que somente usuários autorizados possam criar documentos. Dados de usuário que identificam um usuário do sistema são gravados, e dados de verificação são gerados a partir tanto dos dados de usuário como dados correspondentes a documentos gerados usando o sistema. Dados de autenticação correspondentes aos dados de verificação são gravados, e o documento é então impresso com uma parte legível por máquina contendo os dados de verificação. A parte legível por máquina é tipicamente um código de barras ou símbolo bidimensional. Quando o documento é apresentado, os dados de verificação são lidos do mesmo, por exemplo por varredura óptica, e comparados com dados de autenticação recuperados para indicar se ou não o documento é autêntico.
