Abstract

"ACOPLAMENTO DE PRESSãO EQUILIBRADA COM CORPO DIVIDIDO" Um acoplamento hidráulico equilibrado por pressão para uso nas operações de perfuração e produção submarinas é ilustrado. O acoplamento possui passagens radiais conectando entre os elementos macho e fêmea de forma que a pressão de fluido não seja exercida contra a face de qualquer elemento durante o acoplamento ou desacoplamento. O elemento fêmea possui um corpo dividido com uma primeira parte e uma segunda parte, cada uma possuindo uma passagem longitudinal e uma passagem de fluido radial. Uma vedação radial é posicionada na junção entre as primeira e segunda partes do corpo do elemento fêmea para facilitar a remoção e substituição da vedação radial quando o corpo dividido é desmontado. O elemento macho pode ser inserido através das primeira e segunda partes do elemento de acoplamento fêmea, estabelecendo dessa forma a comunicação por fluido entre os elementos de acoplamento em uma direção transversal com relação aos orifícios de elemento de acoplamento.
