Abstract

In this method the calibration line (the magnetic sensitivity) of the Hall sensor from the tested series of samples is determined beforehand, the output voltage is detected at fixed values of the power supply current and the magnetic induction. For this sensor, in the absence of magnetic field, a voltage is applied to its output contacts that is equal to the already measured Hall voltage and the current between the output contacts of the sensor is determined. The ratio of the power supply current through this sensor and the current through the output contacts are calculated. For the other Hall sensors of the test series, a voltage is applied to their output contacts, of the same value, with which the sensor with the determined magnetic sensitivity had already been calibrated and the current through the output contacts is measured. The known ratio of the current of the power supply and the current through the output contacts for each sensor to be calibrated determines the respective power supply current corresponding to the already determined magnetic sensitivity.
